Four injured after cement truck overturns

Four people have been hospitalised following an accident along the Mandela Highway in St Catherine.




The police say about 9 a.m a truck carrying cement towards Spanish Town overturned near the Caymanas intersection after the driver lost control of the vehicle.



Several bags of cement fell atop a Toyota Vista motor car and a Toyota Townace.



The police say three occupants of the Vista and the occupant of the Townace suffered varying injuries and were taken to hospital where they were

admitted.



Hundreds of bags of cement were scattered on the ground causing a traffic pile up.
