Don't rush to judge - Glen Mills

Published:Sunday | June 16, 2013 | 11:34 AM

Mills has cautioned against a rush to judgement until all the facts are in surrounding Veronica Campbell-Brown’s positive test for a banned substance.

However, Mills concedes that the news is not good for the sport.

But speaking on a local radio programme today, Mills says he will withhold his comments on the issue until he knows all the details surrounding the incident.

He notes that Campbell-Brown has carried the Jamaican flag with distinction and says her reputation has been solid throughout her long career.

As a result, he says the public should wait to hear her explanation.

Since confirmation came last evening of her adverse analytical finding, there has been no word from the athlete’s camp.
