Headless body found in St Thomas, star-shaped tattoo on right shoulder

The headless body of a man was found in a state of decomposition at Sandy Grove Road, Pamphret, St Thomas yesterday.



The body, which was clad in a black merino and multi-coloured shorts, is about 6' long, and has a star-shaped tattoo on the right shoulder.



It also had on a black wrist band.



Reports from the Yallahs Police are that at about 9:30 p.m., residents stumbled upon the body and summoned the Police.



Upon their arrival, the scene was processed and the body taken to the morgue.



Investigators are now appealing to anyone who may be able to assist in identifying the body to contact the Yallahs Police at 982-5075 or 119.
