Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell both secured their spots in tonight's 100m final, but it was Nesta Carter, who was most impressive in qualifying at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association/Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships a short while ago, inside the National Stadium.

Carter produced a late burst to win his semi-final in a season best 9.97 ahead of Kemar Bailey-Cole, 10.02, and Asafa Powell, 10.05.

Usian Bolt comfortably won his semi-final ahead of Nickel Ashmeade, as both sprinters stopped the clock at 10.03. Jason Livermore finished in third place with a time of 10.21.

The final is set for 9:25 p.m. tonight.
