BADMINTON: Tolan to step down as president

Vishu Tolan will step down as president of the Jamaica Badminton Association after eight years at the helm.
Tolan made the decision, 24 hours after he was elected first vice-president of the Jamaica Olympic Association.
Tolan says he will not totally walk away from the sport.
Tolan defeated Captain Horace Burrell for the position of first vice-president at the general election on Tuesday.
Sports administrator Michael Fennell was reelected as president to stretch his unbroken run at the helm to 36 years.
Fennell defeated challenger Don Anderson 19-15 votes in a poll conducted at the JOA’s office in Kingston.
