West Indies and the 2013 Champions Trophy semi-finalists Sri Lanka will face off at Sabina Park today in the opening match of the Celkon Mobile Cup tri-nation series, which also involves India.

The tournament, which will be held in Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago, will see each team playing each other twice, with the top two teams advancing to the final.

The West Indies will use the series to make up for their early elimination from the 2013 Champions Trophy.

West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo says he is confident the regional side has the strength to win the series.

Bravo says the West Indies squad includes a lot of match-winners who are capable of leading the Caribbean side to the title.

Among the match winners in the squad are the Jamaican pair of hard-hitting opener Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels, along with Kieron Pollard, Darren Sammy and Sunil Narine.

The remaining members of the squad are – Johnson Charles, Darren Bravo, Devon Smith, Denesh Ramdin, Tino Best, Ravi Rampaul and Kemar Roach.

West Indies second match will also be at Sabina Park. They will face the 2013 Champions Trophy winners India on Sunday.
