$2m bail for accused in Britney Mighty's murder case
The man accused of the murder of 23-year-old University of Technology employee Britney Mighty has been offered bail in the sum of $2 million with one to four sureties.
Lloyd Bennett is to report to the Greater Portmore Police station three times per week between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
He has also been ordered to surrender his travel documents and a stop order was placed on him.
He’s to return to court on August 28 for a preliminary enquiry.
Mighty was reported missing on January 27 when she failed to return to her home in Portmore, St Catherine.
Her body was found four days later buried under stone and grass in a section of Port Royal, Kingston.
