Telecommunications company, LIME has announced a cut in the rate which landline customers pay to call mobile numbers.

The charge has been reduced to $3.09.

The company notes that the rate is moving from $6.99 which reflects a reduction of over 60 per cent since last year.

LIME says the recent reduction in mobile termination rates by the Office of Utility Regulations has enabled the company to cut the charge on landlines to mobile.
