Gay runs 9.79 to beat Asafa (9.88) in Diamond League race

Jamaica's Asafa Powell runs 9.88 coming in second behind Tyson Gay who clocked 9.79 to take first place in the men's 100m at the Lausanne Diamond League meeting today.



Earlier, Novlene Williams-Mills clocked 50.87 to take third place in the womens 400m, Francena McCorory came in first with 50.36 and Amantle Montsho second in 50.37.
