The sentencing of broadcaster Wayne Whyte and his co-accused in relation to the April 2012 gun attack on journalist Jody-Ann Gray has been postponed until Monday.

Sentencing was expected to be handed down in the High court Division of the Gun Court this morning.

However, Justice Courtney Daye put off the matter because all the character witnesses were not available.

Whyte and Safari Farr pleaded guilty last Wednesday to wounding with intent, illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.

Gray was attacked as she arrived home in Cedar Grove in Portmore, St Catherine on April 4 last year.

At that time she was pregnant.

Gray has commended the prosecution and the police for their investigation of the matter.
