Golf team returns home today after 5th-place finish

Jamaica’s nine-member golf team is now traveling home following a fifth place finish at the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships, which ended yesterday in the Grand Cayman.



This year’s event was won by Puerto Rico with 159 points. The Dominican Republic finished second with 139 points and Trinidad & Tobago third on 135 points.



Kei Harris was the highest placed Jamaican at the championships. Harris finished second in the Girls’ 11 to 13 segment with rounds of 80, 76 and 76.
