Men flee motor vehicle leaving behind 128lbs of ganja

Police from the St Elizabeth Highway Patrol have seized 128lbs of compressed ganja after it was discovered in a motor vehicle in Slipe District, St Elizabeth last night.




The police say they were conducting stop and search activities about 11:30 last night when a Toyota motor vehicle was intercepted.



They say about three men fled the car and managed to escape.



The vehicle was subsequently searched by the lawmen and the ganja allegedly found.



The police say the drug has an estimated street value of $640,000.
