Police seize 2,500 pounds of ganja in Manchester

Two men were this morning taken into custody after a stop and search operation conducted by the police Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division uncovered 2,500 pounds of compressed ganja in their possession.



Reports are that the men, who are from St Elizabeth and Clarendon were travelling along the Winston Jones Highway in Manchester in a Tipper Truck sometime after 7 a.m. when they were stopped by the police.



The vehicle was searched and the ganja found and then seized.
