HORSE RACING: Rock 'A' Way should get it right

Published:Wednesday | July 17, 2013 | 8:58 AM

Midweek racing continues at Caymanas Park today with a 10-race card featuring the Dr Clifford Grey Memorial Cup over 1300 metres.

The three-year-old maiden special weight event has attracted 10 opponents and the one to beat is the consistent ROCK 'A' WAY.

Trained by Anthony Nunes, the lightly-raced filly has finished second in all three races to date, best of which was her three-quarter length second to MAMA BLOSSOM over 1400 metres on June 15.

She has worked well coming into this race and as a result is expected to release the maiden tag with champion jockey Dane Nelson riding from the convenient mark of 52 kilos.

ETTU ORACLE, LEGENDARY PLEASURE and HUMBLE LION should fight for the minor places.

Post time on the card is 1:30 p.m.
