Alleged gang leader Rooksie for court today

Reputed gang leader Uriel 'Rooksie' James is scheduled to return to court today in relation to one of two murder cases against him.

He was granted $600,000 bail when he last appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on May 17.

James, who is said to be the leader of the Discipline Gang in Rose Town, Kingston, is accused of the 2004 murder of 36-year-old Sean James of James Street, Rose Town, Kingston 13.

He is represented by Attorney-at-Law, Tom Tavares-Finson.

The alleged gang leader is also before various courts on a range of charges including the alleged killing of a man in Rose Town, Kingston, in the 1990s.
