US-Cuba migration talks resume

Migration talks have resumed between Cuba and the United States.



This marks the first time since January 2011.



US and Cuban officials met in Washington yesterday to discuss the implementation of the 1994 and 1995 US-Cuba Migration Accords.



The talks are also aimed at identifying actions needed to ensure that the goals of the accords are met especially those concerning the lives of intending immigrants.
