Deadly nightclub attack leaves Hanover residents fearful

Residents of Lucea, Hanover, are in fear this evening after gunmen went on a deadly rampage at the popular Clipper Nite Club early this morning.



Two men were killed and three others hospitalised after masked gunmen opened fire on patrons at the club.



Those killed are 31-year-old Lee McFarlane of Elgin Town, in the parish and 40-year-old Ismael Perez, a Mexican national.



Reports to our newsroom are that three men entered the club located along Seaview Drive shortly after 4 o’clock and opened fire before escaping.



McFarlane and Perez reportedly succumbed to their injuries while being treated.



The Lucea Police are investigating the incident.
