Teachers must stop accepting poor performance - Thwaites

Published:Saturday | July 20, 2013 | 6:27 PM

Education Minister Ronald Thwaites has appealed to the nation’s teachers to stop being complacent with poor performance.

Speaking at the same symposium, Thwaites urged teachers to seek help in carrying out their duties.

However, he praised them for making use of available data in their classrooms.

Thwaites says the ministry’s policy direction is being guided by data and focus is being placed on the holistic development of students.
