Cuban Leonardo Diaz won the gold medal with a world record throw of 45.32 metres.

Meanwhile, the Jamaican pair of David Bascoe and Shane Hudson were eliminated from the T45-47 Men’s 200 metres after both finished fifth in their semi-final heat.
