Recently sprayed tomatoes might be in markets

The Cross Keys Police are advising the public to be cautious when purchasing tomatoes.



Investigators say a batch of more than 100 pounds of the produce was stolen by praedial thieves from a farm in Marley Hill, Manchester yesterday.



They say the tomatoes were sprayed with a chemical that may be harmful to human health.



The police say the tomatoes are expected to go to market and as such they are encouraging persons to be on the lookout when buying tomatoes.
