TRAYVON MARTIN CASE: Zimmerman got away with murder says juror
A juror in the Trayvon Martin trial says Florida neighbourhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman got away with murder.
But the juror, who has been identified only as Maddy in an interview with ABC News network, says the panel could not find him guilty based on the law.
Zimmerman was acquitted of manslaughter charges in the shooting death of the unarmed black teenager in February 2012.
The verdict sparked widespread protests in several cities across the United States.
Maddy said she feels like she owes an apology to Martin’s parents.
She is the only non-white member of the six-woman jury and suggested that the trial had been little more than a sham.
