Body found floating at Victoria Pier

Published:Sunday | July 28, 2013 | 11:38 AM

The body of an unidentified man was found in the Kingston Harbour yesterday.

This is the third body removed from the harbour at Victoria Pier in downtown Kingston in nearly a month.

The Constabulary Communications Network (CCN) says the latest victim is of dark complexion, slim build and was clad in a multi-coloured striped T-shirt.

The Kingston Central police report that about 10 o’clock residents saw the body floating in the sea and alerted the police.

Police investigators suspect drowning to be the cause of death.

The CCN says members of the public who can help to identify the body should contact the Kingston Central police at 922-0308, police emergency 119 or the nearest police station.
