Cops to be trained on smoking ban regulations

Over the next three months members of the constabulary force will undergo training on the regulations governing the ban on smoking in public spaces and the workplace.




In the latest Force Order, Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington instructed Commanding Officers that the regulations must form the subject of lectures.



The police commissioner has instructed Commanding Officers to ensure that all government-owned or occupied buildings under their command comply with the regulations regarding the posting of 'No Smoking' signs.
