Constables Kirton Green, Raymond Johnson, Alicia Hutchinson-Brooks, and Faye Falconer were arrested and charged following an incident in which the prisoner, Greg Taylor, escaped custody under questionable circumstances.

The prisoner who escaped from the Freeport Police Station on January 30 was recaptured at the house of a police woman.

The prisoner had been initially arrested for serious crimes committed in the parishes of Hanover, St James and Trelawny.

Following the submission of a file to the director of public prosecutions, the four cops were arrested and charged with breaches of the Corruption (Prevention) Act.
