Withdraw cops involved in Kingston 10 shooting from frontline duties, Commish orders
The Police Commissioner has ordered that the cops involved in Thursday’s fatal shooting on Sutherland Avenue off Molynes Road in Kingston 10 be withdrawn from frontline duties.
It is reported that a resident was riding home on a motorbike when he was shot in the back by a cop.
The man died on the spot.
The police are said to be cooperating with the Independent Commission of Investigations.
According to the Police High Command, all members of the force are held to the highest standard of probity in the conduct of their duties, especially in circumstances where lethal force is used.
