Police investigators are to question three men nabbed in yesterday’s find of 500 pounds of ganja worth approximately $3 million.

The police have withheld the identities of the men.

The compressed ganja was seized on Wickham Avenue, Kingston 8 by police personnel who were on patrol when they observed a man acting in a suspicious manner.

The police say he was accosted, and further checks led them to a house in the area.

It was searched and the illegal drug allegedly found.

The police say their operation then took them to Sayres Avenue, Kingston 10, where another house was searched and several cartons of cigarettes were found.

Investigators are awaiting confirmation from their partners in the Customs Department, but they suspect that the cigarettes did not pass through customs.
