MOSCOW, Russia:

Reporters and TV crew from all over the world descended on the Luzhniki Stadium's northern warm-up track earlier today, as the Jamaican team at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics hosted an open training session and media day.

A number of the island's leading and upcoming stars, including Warren Weir, Hansle Parchment, Ristananna Tracey, Novlene Williams-Mills and Kemar Bailey-Cole, along with head coach Michael Clarke and press liaison Dennis Gordon obliged the eager media representatives with interviews and photos ahead of the start of the August 10-18 championships.

Double word record holder Usain Bolt, who has already featured in several media events since his arrival in the city, did take a number of photos, but decided to skip interviews, leaving the venue shortly after completing his training session.
