Trinidad jolted by second earthquake in three days
A second earthquake has jolted Trinidad in three days.
It measured 3.8.
There have been no reports of injury or damage.
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre says today’s tremor was felt in the same area that one occurred on Tuesday.
The Seismic Research Centre says at 10:45 a.m, the earthquake occurred north of the Paria Peninsular, off Trinidad’s northwest coast.
It is reported that tremors were felt in Port of Spain Trinidad.
On Tuesday, an earthquake measuring 4.1 rattled Trinidad.
Officials have warned Caribbean countries to be prepared for a major quake.
