Published:Thursday | August 8, 2013 | 6:10 PM

The Jamaica Labour Party's Beverly Prince has regained the Cassia Park Division of the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation.

After all 41 boxes were counted, Prince polled 1,586 votes to the 1,176 by the People's National Party's Sheryn Bromfield.

Director of Elections Orrette Fisher said it was an incident-free election.

Fisher added that the workers, most of whom were from the staff of the Electoral Office, performed efficiently in conducting the polls.

The final count of ballots will take place tomorrow morning at 9:00 at Tarrant Baptist Church Hall.

Prince held the Cassia Park division for three consecutive terms before switching to the Hagley Park division during last year’s local government elections, where she lost to the PNP's Nenna Wilson by 342 votes.

The PNP is in control of the KSAC with 26 divisions to the JLP’s 14
