The Jamaica leg of the inaugural Caribbean Premier League Twenty20 tournament bowls off today with Chris Gayle’s Jamaica Tallawahs facing Ramnaresh Sarwan’s Guyana Amazon Warriors at Sabina Park.

The match is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.

Both teams enter the contest on six points each, but Guyana Amazon Warriors who have played a game more are in second place courtesy of net run rate.

The Jamaica Tallawahs franchise has won three of its four games, its only blemish coming against today’s opponents.

Jamaica Tallawahs lost the match against Guyana Amazon Warriors by eight wickets and Gayle wants revenge on home turf.

Sarwan is hoping to get the better of The Tallawahs again.

Jamaica Tallawahs will also face Barbados Tridents on Saturday and Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel on Sunday.
