Jamaica’s 4X400 relay team through to final

Jamaica’s 400 metre relay quartet is through to the final of the event set for tomorrow afternoon at 12:50 (Jamaica time).



Rusheen McDonald started the half lap event and handed over to Javere Bell who maintained the lead.



Edino Steele stretched the lead on the third leg before handing over to Javon Francis.



Francis would be over taken by Britain’s Martyn Rooney on the back stretch, but took back the lead near the finish line to secure an automatic qualifying spot for the Caribbean team.
