NETBALL: Young Sunshine Girls depart for World Youth Championships Monday

Jamaica’s Under-21 netball team is scheduled to depart on Monday for the World Youth Netball Championships in Glasgow, Scotland from August 22 to 31.

The Young Sunshine Girls are scheduled to play their opening game against Samoa on Friday, August 23.

Vangelee Williams will captain the Jamaican team, with Khadijah Williams as vice-captain.

The 11-member team is completed by Adean Thomas, Antoinette Stone, Mellisa Wright, Shamera Sterling, Shanice Beckford, Shantal Slater, Simone Gordon, Stacian Facey and Zonasha Hinds.
