NETBALL: Young Sunshine Girls in Scotland for World Youth Championships

Jamaica’s Under-21 netball team departed yesterday for Glasgow, Scotland for the World Youth Netball Championships from August 22-31.



The Young Sunshine Girls are scheduled to play their opening game against Samoa on Friday.



Vangelee Williams will captain the Jamaican team, with Khadijah Williams as vice-captain.



The 11-member team is completed  by Adean Thomas, Antoinette Stone, Mellisa Wright, Shamera Sterling, Shanice Beckford, Shantal Slater, Simone Gordon, Stacian Facey and Zonasha Hinds.
