The police in Cayman have captured a Jamaican man who escaped from a prison on that island last week.

Twenty two year-old Chadwick Dale was one of three men who escaped from the Northward prison on August 14.

The police say he was nabbed shortly after 2 o’ clock this afternoon following a tip-off from a member of the public.

At the time of his escape, Dale was facing a six-year prison sentence on charges of wounding and robbery.
