NETBALL: Young Sunshine Girls begin campaign at World Youth Championships today

Jamaica’s Under-21 netballers will begin their campaign at the 2013 World Youth Netball Championships in Glasgow, Scotland on today’s opening day of the tournament.



Jamaica, who are drawn in Group ‘C’, will play Samoa in their opening game at the National Indoor Sports Arena. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:15 a.m. Jamaica time.



Jamaica and Samoa are drawn alongside Wales, the Cayman Islands and Scotland.



Vangelee Williams will captain the Jamaican team, with Khadijah Williams as vice captain.



The 11-member team is completed by Adean Thomas, Antoinette Stone, Mellisa Wright, Shamera Sterling, Shanice Beckford, Shantal Slater, Simone Gordon, Stacian Facey and Zonasha Hinds.
