St Mary police detectives have released the identity of a woman believed to be involved in the abduction of a one-week-old baby boy from his home in Retreat, St Mary.

She is Diana Pinnock, whose last known address is Valley Bush district, St Mary.

The police say all attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful.

Pinnock is being asked to report to the Prospect Police, the Port Maria Police or the nearest Police Station by 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26.

In the meantime, anyone knowing her whereabouts is being asked to contact the Prospect Police at 994-1487, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.

The baby boy was reportedly taken from his home in Retreat, St Mary by persons who kicked in the door to his family’s home.

The baby is of fair complexion, about seven pounds, and was last seen wearing a green onesie (pin under).

The police say his ‘navel string’ was still attached.

Members of the public are being asked to be on the alert, and should they see anyone with a baby fitting the boy’s description, to immediately contact the police.
