Three members of the Island Special Constabulary Force are now in custody at the May Pen Police Station being interrogated by investigators from the Anti Corruption Branch in connection with a major drug probe.

The cops who are based in Kingston were picked up on Sunday morning in Portland Cottage, south Clarendon where they are alleged to have been demanding cocaine from persons there.

According to investigators, when the demand was not met, the cops abducted a man from the area and took him to a section of the fishing beach.

The cops were intercepted on the fishing beach with the abducted man.

“A citizen observed the altercation between the three suspects and the kidnapped victim and alerted the police,” an investigator told The Gleaner.
