SWIMMING: Jamaica's juniors continue to struggle at World Championships

The Jamaican pair of Timothy Wynter and Sidrell Williams continued to struggle at the fourth FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Dubai, United Arab.

Both swimmers failed to get out of the preliminary round of the Boys’ 50-metre butterfly on today’s fourth day of action.

Williams completed the trip in 26.39 seconds to finish 52nd out of the 87 swimmers who competed at the preliminary stage; and Wynter in his final event finished 60th after clocking 27.05 seconds.

Williams will next be in action on tomorrow’s fifth and penultimate day.

He is down to swim in Heat 4 of the Boys’ 100-metre freestyle.
