Jamaica’s Under-21 netballers are now preparing for a bronze medal showdown against England at the 2013 World Youth Netball Championships in Glasgow, Scootland.

The bronze medal clash is scheduled for tomorrow.

Jamaica, who were strongly fancied to play in the gold medal match, failed to live up to the expectation by losing to New Zealand in their semi-final clash yesterday.

Jamaica lost the match 53-44.

The defeat represents the first for Jamaica at the Championships following five straight wins.

New Zealand will now play defending champions Australia in the final on Sunday.

Australia, the gold medal favourite, qualified for the final by defeating England 67-33 in the other semi-final match yesterday.
