Published:Friday | August 30, 2013 | 9:48 AM

Investigators are today expected to question Detective Constable Lincoln McKoy who reportedly shot and killed his girlfriend and then attempted suicide.

McKoy was taken into police custody recently after recovering in hospital.

It is reported that on August 14 the policeman fatally shot 23-year-old Jessica King at the Errol Flynn Marina in Port Antonio in Portland.

King, who was shot three times, died on the spot.

The policeman then turned the weapon on himself firing four shots.

It is reported that he and King were in a relationship for five years but King moved out of an apartment they shared after the relationship ended.

McKoy is being represented by Attorney-at-Law Christopher Townsend.
