Published:Tuesday | September 3, 2013 | 7:42 AM

The Clarendon police say they are following strong leads in the search for a serial rapist who has been preying on women in the Dampie area of Palmer’s Cross in May Pen.

The police say several men are in custody and are scheduled to face identification parades on suspicion of committing other crimes in the parish.

They say some men who were picked up last week have since been released.

The serial rapist has reportedly sexually assaulted about 12 women.

The police are appealing to members of the public to assist in apprehending the serial rapist by calling 311 or 119 with any information they may have on the whereabouts of the wanted man.
