Shaw holding consultations in St Catherine

Jamaica Labour Party deputy leader, Audley Shaw, is to hold another round of consultations this afternoon in St Catherine on whether to challenge for leadership at the party.

The coordinator of Shaw’s consultation team, Warren Newby, says the meeting is to be held in Bog Walk, but would not say the exact location.

He says the meeting will be closed in light of rising tension in the party:

And in response to questions regarding access to delegates in some constituencies, Newby says the team has not encountered any resistance so far.
