Clarendon residents nab robber, homemade gun seized

A Clarendon robber has been arrested after he was stopped in his tracks and handed over to the police by residents yesterday.



A firearm was seized and a laptop recovered from him by residents in Hannah Heights, May Pen, Clarendon.



Reports from the May Pen police are that about 9:30 p.m., a sixteen-year-old boy was held up and robbed of his laptop while sitting on the roadway.



Residents saw what transpired and gave chase.



The robber was caught.



The Police were summoned and he was handed over to them unharmed.



One homemade shotgun was also seized.



The man, whose name is being withheld, is currently in Police custody, awaiting questioning.
