CRICKET: Six Jamaicans named in WI U-19 squad

Six Jamaicans have been named in a West Indies Under-19 squad for a seven-match series against Bangladesh in Guyana next month.



The Jamaicans named in the squad are – Fabian Allen, Tristan Coleman, Brandon King, Ramaal Lewis, Leroy Lug and Marquino Mindley.



Three players each from the Windward Islands and Guyana were selected. The players selected from the Windward Islands were Taryck Gabriel, Ray Jordan and Preston McSween.



Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Gudakesh Moti-Kanhai and Shimron Hetmyre are the Guyanese players.



Jofra Archer, Bryan Charles, Jerone Jones, Alzarri Joseph and Jeremy Solozano complete the squad.



The schedule includes a warm-up match between Bangladesh Under-19 and Guyana Under-19 in Bourda.



The first of the seven matches will be played on October 9, at the Guyana National Stadium.
