The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) is reporting that a strong sewage odour is spreading across Kingston and nearby environs.

NEPA’s acting manager of public education, Ava Tomlinson says the source of the odour has not yet been determined.

She told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that the odour has stretched as far as Palisadoes, Port Royal.

She says NEPA, the National Water Commission, the Ministry of Health and the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management are investigating the matter.
