HORSE RACING: Awesome Camille gets overnight allowance race in stewards' room

KIPLING WEEKEND notched her third win of the season at Caymanas Park yesterday but was disqualified and placed fifth following a steward’s inquiry in the 1100-metre overnight allowance race.



KIPLING WEEKEND, with Percy Williams, came with a strong run on the outside to get the better of AWESOME CAMILLE, but that success was short-lived.



Second passed the post AWESOME CAMILLE, who got the race in the steward’s room, was ridden by Aaron Chatrie.



EDISON, who finished third with champion jockey Dane Nelson, was promoted to second, while RUN JOHNNY RUN and Richard Mairs was moved up to third in the 14-horse field.
