FOOTBALL: Hydel go in search of first victory as Manning Cup resumes

Published:Thursday | September 12, 2013 | 11:30 AM

Last year’s beaten finalists, Hydel will be in action for the second time inside four days when the 2013 ISSA/LIME Manning Cup resumes today with two games.

The Geoffery Maxwell-coached Hydel will play away to St Andrew Technical High School, STATHS, in a Group ‘A’ fixture.

Hydel will be searching for their first victory after Edith Dalton surprisingly held them to a 1-all draw in their season’s opener on Monday.

Also on that day, STATHS lost 2-nil to Ascot in their opening game.

In the day’s other game, Excelsior who had a 2-nil victory over Waterford on Monday, will play away to St Jago at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.

St Jago enter the contest with a point gained from their opening game against Norman Manley, also on Monday.
