Published:Tuesday | September 17, 2013 | 8:15 AM

Residents of West Kingston and citizen action group the Tivoli Committee will today lead a march to Gordon House.

The group is to deliver a petition to Speaker of the House Michael Peart demanding that a representative be granted the opportunity to address the Parliament on the May 2010 West Kingston operation which left more than 70 people dead and dozens injured.

The group says it wants to highlight the physical and financial burdens that residents continue to face three years after the tragic incident.

It says by addressing legislators members will be able to press its case for the government to compensate those who suffered during the May 2010 incursion.

The group also wants the government to release the Terms of Reference for the Commission of Enquiry into the May 2010 West Kingston operation.
