FOOTBALL: 3 more Premier League sides enter Flow/Champions Cup today

The second round of the 2013 FLOW/Champions Cup football competition will be completed today with four matches down to be contested.




Three Premiership teams will enter the competition today after receiving first round byes.



They are Portmore United, Waterhouse and Arnett Gardens.



Portmore United start against Barbican at the Ferdie Neita Park in Portmore. That match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m..



Waterhouse hosts Port Morant United at Drewsland Stadium in a match set to start at 3:00 p.m..



Arnett Gardens tackles fellow Premiership outfit Humble Lion at the Anthony Spaulding Complex. That match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m..



It will be the second game for Humble Lion as the Clarendon-based team knocked out Cavalier, another Premiership side last week.



Another Premiership team, Montego Bay United, will also be in action today.



Montego Bay United, who beat Rockfort 5-nil in the first round last week, will take on Holland United at Wespow Park at 3:00 p.m..



Meanwhile, Premiership teams Sporting Central and Tivoli Gardens booked their spots in the third round following victories yesterday.



Sporting Central hammered Black Star 6-1 at the Jucci Patties Park in Clarendon, while Tivoli Gardens outscored fellow Premiership team Boys’ Town 4-2 at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex.



Axum also qualified for the third round following a 2-1 victory over Reggae Youths at Gray’s Inn in St Mary.
