FOOTBALL: Ascot face big test against Hydel in Manning Cup

Ascot High, Excelsior and Jamaica College will try to protect their perfect win records when the 2013 ISSA/LIME urban-area Manning Cup football competition resumes today with 12 games across four groups.




Ascot High, who have ticked off three straight victories, will face their biggest test in a Group 'A' top-of-the-table away game against Hydel at the Caymanas field.



Also in the group, St Andrew Technical will host Jonathan Grant, while Edith Dalton and Calabar will face off.



Excelsior High, who have also won three games, will host Norman Manley in Group 'B'. The group also features St Jago against Haile Selassie and Waterford against Cumberland.



Jamaica College, who have secured three big victories, will host Jose Marti over in Group E.



Also in the group, St Andrew College entertain Tivoli, while Bridgeport High face Ardenne.



The remaining games are from Group 'G'.



Those matches are Holy Trinity playing St Mary's College at Bell Chung Oval, Innswood taking on Campion College at Chedwin Park and Meadowbrook entertaining Trench Town.



All matches are scheduled to start at 3:30 in the afternoon.
